Consultation and Website Terms
1. Website enquiries
Sending an enquiry does not create a professional-client relationship and does not guarantee that we can accept or complete a case. We will confirm the scope, documents, fees and applicable terms before substantive services begin.
2. Paid consultations
A booked consultation lasts 30 minutes and costs €50. Payment is processed by Stripe through the Calendly booking process. The booking is confirmed only when the booking and payment have been accepted.
Following an attended consultation, if the person who booked engages The Spanish Job for an eligible service within 90 days, the €50 consultation fee will be credited once against that service fee. The credit is personal, cannot be exchanged for cash and does not apply after the 90-day period.
3. Rescheduling, cancellation and non-attendance
Consultations may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable, although the appointment may be rescheduled once. The fee is forfeited in the event of non-attendance and cannot be credited against a future service. Late arrival does not extend the scheduled finishing time. If The Spanish Job cancels, the client may choose a full refund or a replacement appointment. These conditions do not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.
4. Consumer withdrawal rights
Consumers booking at a distance may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right. If a consultation is requested within that period, the booking process must record the consumer’s express request for performance to begin and the acknowledgements required by law. Once a service has been fully performed in accordance with those requirements, the withdrawal right may cease. Statutory rights are not affected.
5. Professional services
Timescales and outcomes involving public authorities cannot be guaranteed. Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate and timely information. Any continuing service will be governed by the written proposal or engagement terms accepted by the client.
